2021 is primed and ready to be one of the best years in recent history. It won’t take much for the new year to be better than 2020. 2020 featured a ton of downs such as the COVID-19 pandemic which plague our every day lives. 2020 did feature a few good games at least.

Other note-worthy games include Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Grounded, Fall Guys, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, and really the list goes on. We received some great deliveries in the world of games even though the rest of the world was in ruins.
2020 is almost over though. No majorly hyped games are set to release prior to the start of the new year. So we look ahead.

Hitman 3
Hitman 3 looks polished enough to hit its intended release date of January 20, 2021. Hitting a release date is a modern marvel with games this generation, but it does seem like Hitman 3 will hit the mark. Those familiar with the Hitman titles may already know what they’re getting. All trailers indicate we are literally getting a modernized Hitman game. New story, new gameplay, sure; however, the game’s core will remain intact.
Unfamiliar with the game? You’re a HITMAN. Got it? Complete missions from the perspective of a highly talented operative using stealth and brains to take out objectives.
This is a very hyped game that is releasing very soon!

There is no official release date set for the next game in the Horizon series. Horizon
games are published by Sony Interactive Entertainment which makes this new game in the franchise, a PS Exclusive. The Horizon games take another shot at post-apocalyptic universes by delivering a fantastic world for all to explore.

Great scenery and Aloy selfies can be found all over social media. I absolutely enjoy the content that creators are making on Twitter, Facebook, and elsewhere. This game will continue to gain hype traction until it finally releases on Sony platforms.

Hogwarts Legacy
There has been lots released in the Harry Potter world in recent years. Hogwarts: Wizards Unite became very popular in 2019, while Hogwarts Mystery delivered some fun in 2018. The Harry Potter franchise continued to build in 2020 with talks of very hyped movie addition. 2021 seems to be the target year to deliver big in the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
Hogwarts Legacy is set well before Harry Potter roamed the halls of Hogwarts. Avalanche Software (developer of Hogwarts Legacy) wants to build on the legacy of the story which should bring even more fans to the series. A series which won it’s popularity with books, which moved to theatre, which moved to movies, and is now lighting up the gaming world as well.
