Games Workshop has seen a steady climb up the trending ladder in recent years. As the interest begins to boom once again, prospective wargamers are looking for entry level ways of getting into the Warhammer Universe.

Games Workshop has announced 3 new games they are calling, “entry level”.

So, what are they?

Game Workshop’s New Entry Level Games:

o Blitz Bowl: Ultimate Edition
o Warhammer Quest: Lost Relics
o Warhammer 40,000 Combat Arena: Clash of Champions

Now of course, Blood Bowl, Warhammer Quest, and Combat Arena are already well-known titles. These games will allow current players to introduce their friends and family into the Warhammer Universe with a smaller scale game. Let’s dive into each.

Blitz Bowl: Ultimate Edition

Key points:
1. Smaller scale
2. 6v6
3. Streamlined Ruleset

This is a 6v6, Blood Bowl game that is set on a smaller scale and design to get the competitors on the pitch quickly. Blood Bowl itself is a game that is very fun. Though, it can take a long time to play a match. Blitz Bowl allows players to hit a quick pick-up game or help teach others the basics of Blood Bowl.

Warhammer Quest: Lost Relics

Key Points:
1. Quick Set Up
2. Co-operative

Lost Relics is another dungeon crawler in the tabletop world and can be played solo or co-operatively. A band of Stormcast Eternals are stranded in a mysterious labyrinth and trying to find a way out. The game offers quick set up for you and a mate to playthrough quickly.

Warhammer 40,000
Combat Arena: Clash of Champions

Key points:
1. Very fast-paced
2. Allows 2-4 players
3. Replayable

Welcome to the fighting pits. 2-4 players will square off in the Combat Arena. Enjoy fast-paced 40k Combat between friends. This game is easy to setup, looks great, and is a great way to get your friends emersed in the Warhammer Universe.

Warhammer is not a Universe for all. It is very fun and immersive so many enjoy the Games Workshop games. Maybe give one of these games a look if you or a pal has struggled to enter the world of Warhammer.
