Stranded Deep is a survival title that has been around a fair while now. I only just got my hands on it as it is one of the free games for the Month of May 2021.

Of course, most people are familiar with the Battlefield series, and also know Battlefield 5 is the World War II version of Battlefields long popular series of games.
Stranded Deep is a title that many may not be as familiar with. Published and Developed by Beam Team Games, and is available on XboxOne, PS4, and PC. PS Plus membership only delivers the free variant of the game to PS consoles.
The above video showcases my first 15 minutes of the game. I will do a complete review on the game soon, but this is authentic footage of my first look at the game. I knew nothing about it to this point (and still don’t really).
I thought it had some great, sort of routine, survival elements like the need for nourishment, shelter, and the like. It also carries with it a vibe that is all it’s own. You must climb palm trees for coconuts. I find this to be a great survival piece to the game as if you were on a deserted island -you would indeed have to do this for real.
Overall, my first impression is positive. I will be putting in the hours to ensure this game is worth the asking price. (free with PS plus).
